How ServiceStackGuide handles evidence, product testing, future commercial relationships, personal information, accessibility and corrections.
Editorial standards
ServiceStackGuide evaluates technology through the operating problem a reader needs to solve. Conclusions are conditional on business type, team, workflow, implementation and evidence. We prefer official product documentation, observed product behaviour, demonstrations, primary commercial terms and clearly documented test scenarios.
We distinguish verified facts from editorial interpretation. Prices, features, programme terms and availability are dated when published. If information cannot be verified, it is marked as unknown rather than estimated.

Corrections

Affiliate disclosure
ServiceStackGuide may join affiliate programmes later. If tracked links are introduced, a clear disclosure will appear before or near the first commercial link on the relevant page. A qualifying purchase may earn the publisher a commission without increasing the reader's price.
- Commission will not determine product ordering, ratings or conclusions.
- Free and non-commercial alternatives may be recommended when they fit better.
- Sponsored content will be labelled separately from independent editorial work.
- A commercial relationship will not be called a partnership or endorsement unless authorised and accurate.

ServiceStackGuide is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. The site has no user accounts, newsletter form, advertising network or behavioural advertising. Optional Google Analytics is available only after a visitor actively accepts it.
Server logs
The hosting provider may create routine security and access logs containing IP address, browser information, requested page, timestamp and technical status. These logs support delivery, security and fault diagnosis.
If you email us, your address, message and information you provide are processed to respond, investigate corrections or maintain appropriate business records. Do not send confidential customer or employee data.
Google Analytics
With consent, ServiceStackGuide uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, broad usage patterns and engagement. Enhanced measurement may record events such as scrolling, outbound-link clicks, site searches, file downloads and interactions with embedded media or forms when those features exist. Google may process technical information including approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, page addresses, referral information and event timestamps.
Google Signals is disabled. The site configures the tag not to allow Google Signals or advertising-personalisation signals. The Analytics property currently retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months, with the user-data period reset on new activity.
Consent, cookies and local storage
Before consent, the website does not load Google Analytics or send requests to Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Your choice is stored in local storage under ssg_analytics_consent. If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies beginning _ga. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal removes accessible analytics cookies and reloads the page without Google Analytics.
Sharing and retention
Information is not sold. It may be processed by hosting, email and analytics providers as needed to operate and understand the publication, or disclosed where legally required. Correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, legitimate records and legal obligations.

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Contact hello@servicestackguide.com. Identity verification may be required.
Accessibility
ServiceStackGuide aims to provide keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive layouts and meaningful structure. If a page or feature creates a barrier, email the page address, device and problem to hello@servicestackguide.com.
